Are your Frames failing to import correctly—or are your Divi 5 heading presets missing?
The problem may not be KrafterPRO or Divi 5. It could be that your website is using the wrong design system—or that you’re still building pages using an outdated Divi 4 workflow.
In this video, I respond to two problems reported by members of the KrafterPRO community and demonstrate exactly how to fix them.
You’ll discover:
✅ Why Frames Cloud needs the correct design system
✅ What happens when variables and presets don’t match
✅ How to install the KrafterPRO design system safely using Merge Mode
✅ The best workflow for using Frames on a new website
✅ Why headings inside Text Modules limit your control
✅ How Divi 5’s dedicated Heading Module changes the workflow
✅ How to apply heading and text presets properly
✅ Why designing the Divi 4 way creates unnecessary problems in Divi 5
Frames are pre-designed sections stored in the cloud. Unlike ordinary templates, they use variables, presets and responsive clamp values from a complete design system. This allows you to build websites faster while maintaining consistent typography, colours and spacing.
However, that only works when the Frame and your website speak the same design-system language.
The same principle applies to Divi 5 itself: if you approach it using the old Divi 4 workflow, you’ll miss many of its biggest advantages.
4.2.11 — 2026-09-06
In short: This release adds ready-made instructions and commands that make Divi AI build with your design system instead of one-off styling, plus a one-click cleanup pass for pages Divi AI has already built. Design Assist also catches more problems, and a few rough edges are fixed.
New
- Divi AI instructions, built for you. KrafterPRO → AI tab now gives you two things to hand to Divi AI: an Always-On rule you paste once so every Divi AI build sticks to your kit's tokens, colours and presets, and a set of copy-paste commands for common jobs (audit a page, swap hardcoded values for variables, merge repeated styles into presets, fix contrast, tidy headings). If your kit is missing a piece, the text says so plainly rather than inventing a name.
- One-click cleanup for Divi AI pages. Design Assist can now run a single "Apply KrafterPRO design system" pass over a whole page that Divi AI built — it corrects any made-up preset names and strips the per-element styling that your presets already handle.
- Design Assist catches more. It now flags headings or body text that aren't on a type preset, and hardcoded spacing on rows, columns and groups — not just on sections.
Changed
- The per-build command is now step-by-step. The command you paste at the start of a Divi AI build reads as clear numbered instructions with a "done" checklist: build the layout first, then apply your presets in the same step. It still pulls the preset names from your live kit.
- Frames insert is more forgiving. Inserting a Frame no longer fails outright when one preset it references doesn't exist on the destination site. It inserts anyway, as long as the tokens and colours resolve.
Fixed
- Type presets stop touching the font. Presets like
k-h1andk-text-bodyset size, weight and line height only. The font family comes from your kit and is left alone. - Better guidance to Divi AI on colour and contrast. The Always-On rule and build command now tell Divi AI to keep colour paired with text styles, use the light-on-dark colour roles on dark or primary sections, and meet WCAG AA contrast.
Changelog  4.2.10
Added
- Theme Builder overwrite warning only shows when the site already has Theme Builder mappings, and can be dismissed for the rest of the browser tab.
Fixed
- Audit scan and the wp-admin Colors stat now ignore palette rows that Divi has soft-deleted (inactive / disabled / archived), matching the Variable Manager and Design System Completeness.
- Plugin version issue now fixed.

KrafterPRO 4.2.8Â (current)
1. The starter Theme Builder layout is now version-stamped. When you use Quick install to drop in the bundled Theme Builder layout, it installs as v1.0 and shows a version chip next to it — the same little version badge the Design System card already has. You can now tell at a glance which version of the starter layout a site is running.
2. KrafterPRO warns you before it touches an existing Theme Builder setup. If a site already has a Theme Builder template and you start another install — by Merge, by Replace, or by uploading your own file — it now stops and shows a warning first instead of just going ahead.
- Choose Replace and the warning tells you exactly how many existing template mappings it's about to delete.
- Choose Merge and the warning names what it will change: the Default Website Template and the global header/footer.
Fixed
3. The bundled Theme Builder file no longer smuggles in a second copy of the design system. That file used to carry presets, variables, and colours alongside the layout. If you ran the install with Import Presets still ticked, you could end up with a duplicate design-system kit on the site. The bundled file is now layout-only, so that can't happen — leaving Import Presets ticked has no side effect here anymore.
Frames (reusable section library) — brand new in this line
- 4.1.25–4.1.26: A Frames picker was added to the Divi Visual Builder — a native toolbar button, a grid of preview tiles, and an "insert" that drops a ready-made section onto the page without replacing anything else.
- 4.2.0 — Frames Cloud: Frames are now authored on one central site and show up in every licence holder's Visual Builder automatically, with no plugin update. The picker pulls a remote catalog (cached 15 min, refreshed twice a day), verifies each Frame's checksum, and re-maps its design tokens to whatever the local site calls them. If the central site is unreachable it falls back to a cached copy, then to the Frames bundled inside the plugin. Paid Frames are licence-checked at the boundary.
- 4.2.1:Â Picker gained a collapsible category sidebar, search, filter chips, and a "Check for new Frames" button. The "Save as Frame" authoring flow gained a readiness panel, draft-vs-publish, thumbnail preview/recapture/upload, and a library manager screen.
- 4.2.2:Â Sharper thumbnails (900px grid, 1800px preview). Hover a tile for a full-section preview, click to select. Dark sections now preview on their real background instead of white.
- 4.2.3–4.2.5: "Save as Frame" now bakes in heading/body typography (size, weight, line-height) from the group presets, so an inserted Frame still looks right on a site that doesn't have those exact presets. It also captures the live canvas including unsaved edits.
Design Assist (the in-builder fixer)
- 4.0.11 onward: Design Assist panel in the Visual Builder — live canvas update after Apply, "Apply all like this" for identical fixes, "This module / Whole page" scope, a session progress chip, and a resizable panel. It needs a live design system (variables + presets) or it warns you.
- 4.1.2–4.1.4: Scans section/row/column/group spacing and margins; detects old static spacing presets and suggests the nearest KrafterPRO clamp preset; click a finding to select that module on the canvas; separate Headings and Text categories; collapses identical fixes into stacked cards with "Apply all"; a notification dot on the toolbar when the page scores below 100.
- 4.1.7 — Accessibility: WCAG AA contrast cards for Heading, Text, Blurb, and Call To Action. Contrast fixes are never bundled into "Apply all".
- 4.1.14:Â Flags sections still on Divi's default 4% top/bottom padding and suggests attachingÂ
k-section-m. - 4.2.6: Unlicensed sites now get Design Assist. Scanning and preview are unlimited; each site can apply 5 single fixes for life, then Apply turns into an upgrade prompt (undoing a trial fix as an admin refunds a credit). Batch/Modernise-all, layout modernisation, and Design Guard stay licence-only.
Design Health (the admin audit dashboard)
- Steady stream of fixes across 4.0.4–4.1.16: Fix now attaches the actual group preset (e.g.Â
k-text-body), not just the raw number behind it; the score stopped "bouncing" after fixes because it re-reads the pages it just changed; stopped showing inflated "+N score" numbers on upgrade cards; ignores Divi's factory default sizes instead of flagging them. - 4.1.13: Body text on cart, checkout, and shop pages now follows your design-system size — those pages had been stuck at 20px from Divi's theme settings.
- 4.1.11 — Client Health Report: A print-ready HTML report generated from the last scan (score, work done this period, what's left, Guard, cleanup, snapshots). It never re-crawls the site; browser "Save as PDF" is the export path. Agency branding on the report needs a licence — without one it still generates with KrafterPRO on the cover.

Sorry ladies and gentlemen the Live Q & A will be held next week. I an working on KrafterPRO bugs. I hope you understand!

KrafterPRO Changelog - 4.1.26 — 2026-08-26
Added
- Frames picker in Visual Builder: native bar icon, catalog tiles, and insert that adds a section without replacing the page.
Changed
- Selected Frame tiles show a 2px brand-colour focus ring (2px offset). Names sit 12px below the thumbnail.
Fixed
- Locked paid Frames explain the real licence problem — expired, unverifiable, this site not registered, revoked, or licence server unreachable — instead of a generic confirm failure.
- Every licence reason has a copy row so a new reason cannot silently reuse the unverifiable shell.
- After orphan-preset heal, an admin notice appears only when something changed or the scan hit the 8,000-post cap. A capped scan is stored as capped, not done.
- Delete All Variables & Colors no longer fails with "Divi REST reset did not complete" (HTTP 404 `rest_no_route`) on admin-ajax requests. Divi's Visual Builder REST routes are queued before the reset call, and an in-process GlobalData controller fallback handles the case where Divi's `rest_api_init` has already run without them.
Removed
- Font-token-migrate no longer writes to live posts. The in-memory helper remains; Apply still refuses a font-family token on a non-family leaf.

Every premade layout pack has the same problem it arrives in someone else's colours, someone else's fonts, someone else's spacing. Then you spend an hour making it look like yours.
I've been building something to fix that.
This is the first look. Watch the video on Youtube!
Frames drop into your Divi 5 page already wearing your design system — your brand, your type, your spacing. No restyling. And when you change your brand colour later, every Frame you've already placed follows automatically.
Frames will be available soon!
