What's changed from 4.2.5 to 4.2.28

New

• "Apply KrafterPRO design system" button. It cleans up pages that Divi AI built, so they use your presets instead of one-off styling.

• "Bind presets" button. It shows how many presets it would add and only does it when you click.

• More Design Assist and Audit checks. It flags missing heading or body text presets, hard-coded gaps, and grid presets missing their grid setting. It can fix the grid ones for you.

• Better Divi AI rules and commands. They now use the names from your actual kit.

• Automatic first install. A brand-new, empty Divi 5 site gets the design system installed the first time an admin opens wp-admin. If it fails, you get a notice with a link to install it manually.

• Install Design System button. It shows on the dashboard when the design system is mostly missing.

• Getting Started tab with a walkthrough video, under Build.

• Safer import and cleanup.

  • Importing over an existing design system leaves your colours and fonts alone unless you tick them.
  • Cleanup shows what Delete All would keep.
  • Import warns you if Divi's tablet or phone breakpoints are off.
  • Reset warns you which presets will lose their colour.

• Theme Builder starter layout. It was added, then later removed from the download (see Removed). It will come back as Frames.

Improved

• Frames picker. Click a card to open a big preview. You can page through with the arrow keys, and the picker stays open after you add one.

• Frame inserts. They now check that the needed presets exist first and refuse if not, so update the design system before adding Frames.

• Update Design System only touches presets now, not your colours or fonts. It says "Design System is Up To Date" when there's nothing to do. The preview is shorter and clearer.

• Design system 3.1.7. Grid layouts now space their columns, and your own alignment choices are kept.

• Better Audit findings. They name the exact module and give the path to it (Section → Row → Column).

• Rollback. It keeps your last design-system update snapshot, and the success message has an "Undo this update" link.

• Admin look, 4.2.28:

  • New fonts (Manrope and Inter).
  • No drop shadows, softer corners, a cleaner header, and a blue selected tab.
  • Cleanup's protected-presets card is renamed "Do not delete these presets".
  • Delete All Module Presets now shows the real number of presets it will remove.

Fixed

• Delete All Variables & Colors now works on Divi 5.15. Before, nothing was removed.

• Review kept items no longer lists KrafterPRO's own items as "not recognized". It also no longer offers colours that can't actually be deleted.

• Update Design System now finishes presets that were stuck on missing spacing or radius tokens. It tells you what it updated, added or skipped.

• Brand colours after Reset. Brand Apply restores them under their original ids, so presets keep their colour.

• Frames.

  • Inserted Frames keep their spacing, backgrounds, and grid or flex layout.
  • Save as Frame keeps heading and body text sizes.
  • Some Frames no longer error on insert.
  • Reloading the Visual Builder no longer strips a heading's size.

• "Save of Global Presets Has Failed" in Divi. That error is fixed, and affected sites are repaired automatically.

• Admin crashes. Fixed a memory crash on sites with a large Divi cache, and a crash on hosts without the mbstring extension.

• Brand Studio wasn't loading because of a stray tag in the dashboard script. It loads now.

• Smaller fixes:

  • The Licensing page key field now always shows.
  • Open page in VB no longer 404s on Theme Builder layouts.
  • Rollback restores what was imported, so Cleanup matches.
  • A same-version update no longer claims there's a new version.
  • The marketplace download shows the blue licensed header.

Removed

• The green "Design system updated" notice after import. Rollback still saves a snapshot.
• The extra review and summary screens on design-system updates. File uploads still show the full review.
• The Theme Builder template from the plugin download. It will return as Frames.
