Getting Started With KrafterPRO

In this video, I’ll show you how to get started with KrafterPro, a logic-driven design system and workflow tool built for Divi 5.

You’ll learn how to download KrafterPro, install the plugin, activate your license, import your design system, use safe merge or override mode, export backups, reset variables and presets, and start designing faster with ready-made presets and workflows.

KrafterPro helps you build Divi 5 websites that are easier to maintain, more consistent, and much faster to manage especially if you’re building client websites or working with a team.

Very informative! Thanks Mak.

Thanks, Mak. This video helped a lot.

You touched on one of the main questions I had, but I’m still not completely clear on the best workflow.

If I’m working on an existing Divi site, or starting with a child theme from another developer, what is the best way to bring KrafterPro into that build?

My goal would be to keep the existing design direction intact, including the colors, fonts, layouts, and overall styling, while still taking advantage of KrafterPro’s workflow benefits. For example, things like the clamp presets, spacing system, utility structure, and any other global efficiencies KrafterPro adds.

Would KrafterPro be something I should install and then selectively apply to the existing site/theme? Or is it better suited to being the foundation from the very beginning of a new build?

I want to make sure I’m using it the right way without accidentally overriding or conflicting with the design system already in place.

Hope that makes sense, and thanks again for putting this together.

Hello Augustine, Hope you're well.
Ok, after following Site KrafterPro for a year now I guess 😅. I was wandering... Is the plugin solution, the good and the last one?
Cause it was a theme, than only json files... I'm not sure to use it like that if it will change again...
And subquestion, how to manage websites when used the older way? Do I have to start over the projects??
Thanks for your consideration,
King regards,

Claire

I’ve asked this question about how to handle old websites or existing child themes several times now, but it seems there’s no answer? Is Krafter PRO only suitable for new projects?
