How To Update Krafter Design System

Thanks, Mak, for this video. I hope Divi listens and improves the way we manage and update our presets. This is workable, but far from ideal as you pointed out.
Important Observation: when you deleted h1 light imported starting at about the 6:30 mark and then reset the text to h1 light, the text was decidedly lighter than the imported version. This needs some clarification to determine which version is the correct version. Is it possible that you changed the saturation of the light fonts in Krafter 2.4?
If that is the case and we need or want to retain the saturation of the 2.4 light presets, it's possible, for example, to delete H1 light and then edit H1 light to read H1 light.

Thanks Mak for making this video. I understand now the situation with the Presets at the moment. What I was referring to is that my personal Variables COLORS and FONTS are going back to your settings when I update the Krafter System. Maybe you can make the update so that it preserves our COLORS and FONTS from the previous version. I hope this makes sense. Thank you again! 👍
For what it's worth, I checked my font and color global variables after updating from 2.2 to 2.4 and everything appears to have remained the same. Have you performed the update to 2.4? If not, create a backup, give it a try and see if your settings are correctly retained. If not, you can restore from the backup and wait for Mak to check into this further. Just an idea.
Robert Nitrio yes I have updated to 2.4 and my colors were changed. Before to 2.2 my colors and fonts were changed. That's why I'm bringing this up.

Just to clarify, please: if I’m on version 2.2 and I bring in the 2.4 library, it marks all of the 2.2 duplicates as imported? Thanks!
That is what I am seeing on my site. Rather than going through all of the presets and "fixing" them now, I will wait to see if Divi comes up with a better management scheme in a future release - either Beta or final release. Mak may also issue a new version of Krafter as well, so I will simply sit tight until things point to a better solution. As far as I'm concerned, this is a Divi issue.

Great video and very clear explanation of the current Divi 5 limitations regarding presets. However, manual cleanup of 'imported' duplicates becomes an impossible task as the project grows, and it forces us to lose our custom branding (like fonts and colors) with every update.
The ideal 'Krafter' update-logic would be to provide modular JSON files containing only the new elements per version, allowing existing users to expand their library without cluttering the system or overwriting their manual customizations.
If there are important tweaks to existing elements, a simple manual 'workaround' instruction would be much more efficient than a full import. This way, we keep the system clean and future-proof without waiting for Divi to change their import logic.
