Mak - you should set up something so that other people in your community who can help you and want to see you grow your business / communities can do exactly that. chat - email - video - streamline it somehow so we don't have to even think about how to provide you with whatever it is you ask for - and sometimes with info you may not realize you even need yet. I would love you see you become the biggest name out there. Compliments on this video, indeed!
Finally! Thanks Normand Deslandes for speaking up! why to have a community just for it to be a ghost town? Mak . can have a lot of support! this will change things for sure :) (create your team of moderators too and things to promote the gamification like sharing websites and you give retro for example)

Agree - I'm not so interested in your products Mak, but interested in having a community that is super engaged and loves working with Divi. I would love the community to be my go to for help or if I can help others etc. FYI i have gone off FB communities cause there is way to many external interests at play. Your community space is safe and is ready to go.
Totally awesome guys, please keep it coming (questions, suggestions, and your top of the world community specifics) the one that has chosen to move to the next level. I'll do my part to keep it moving with Mak. But a structure community is built a little differently (let make it happen - Mak has its heat in it completely and now, he is opening up) Let make it what is was meant to be.
I think there is a lot of wisdom in what Normand shared with you Mak. One thing I learned during my 35+ years as a visual designer/illustrator/web designer freelancer, is that there are only so many hours in a day and a limit to how many hours I can work. I can work hard to raise my hourly rate over time. But in the end, alone, all I can do is trade hours for dollars, and there is a limit to both.
I realized that to be successful, I would need to leverage what I know and can do to extend it beyond what I can do myself. This is when I joined with partners and other freelancers to accomplish bigger projects and for larger clients.
You need to do the same with your knowledge and skills. You should harness the others in the community who are experienced and knowledgeable, and can help extend it beyond what you alone can do. I would be interested in helping and participating in that endeavor.

This video was fantastic. I'm glad you had light bulb moments and gained such insight from Normand. As I was watching, I was shaking my head in agreement and even speaking my own suggestions which happened to be the same as Normand's phrasing.
Mak, to be honest with you, I have shared one or two frustrations with other folks in the community too. However, as a former podcaster of 18 months [as of a month ago], I TOTALLY understood and just had patience. Every time I would read people's comments frustrated with your lack of response, I knew you were just overwhelmed.
As a former podcaster, I knew you were super busy recording, editing, planning, working on the design system, on top of day to day family life and so much more. I knew you needed help. I used to spend 14+ hours on one podcast episode with all the factors involved in creating one 10 minute show.
I agree with folks here that you should have moderators. Additionally, I would suggest sub-community sections for specific things rather than one area, the general community for everything. For example, one for "newbies", "agencies/designers", "bugs", "licenses", one for "plugin issues", "successes", "design issues"....I don't know...take my suggestions with a grain of salt. This is where moderators would be able to help keep questions in their proper place. I really enjoyed this video. I wish I had had this kind of community with my podcast, but it just never happened.
