Krafter Pro Install over previous versions.

I do have one important question regarding the installation over the previous Krafter 2.4.

After updating Divi 5 to the latest version, do we delete the previous version of Krafter in the the Divi Library by simply trashing it, emptying the trash and then install Krafter Pro? Will it mess up the presents library in the new install or cause any other problems?

Do we also delete the old templates in the theme builder with the Trash icon (reset templates) first, then install the Krafter Pro templates? I think that one is a yes. Thanks all!

I would like to know the answer to these questions as well. It is very important to know the proper method of upgrading. Also, what about those of us who have been playing with SiteKrafter Pro? Is this a "dead" product? Should we use only the newly released KrafterPro?

Commenting as i'd like to hear the best advice on this too, love the krafter system but this needs addressing please mak, as it can get messy and time consuming and we're trying to avoid wasting time by using this system!

I follow this too.

I need to know this also!

Dittos from SW Ohio. :) I'm also going to re-review the "How to Install" video Mak posted yesterday to see if I missed something regarding this post's question.

I tend to live on the bleeding edge, so I backed up my redesigned site on my localhost and installed KrafterPRO. Here is what I learned.

The header and body fonts that I had previously selected remained intact. The primary and secondary colors also remained intact. My main concern was what the templates might do to the custom global header and footer I created. They also remained intact. Your results might vary, but so far simply installing KrafterPRO on top of the existing settings has not produced any discernable issues for me. I will update you if I discover something that got broken. The big caution is to do a full backup before you decide to install KrafterPRO.

Also, today I will do another backup and then I will see what happens when I delete Krafter 2.4. Stand by for news.

Robert Nitrio thanks robert, i'm playing with it on a live site too (low traffic and backed up) and nothing got broken, my question was more related to tidying it all up, as i had presets from krafter lite, krafter 2.4 and pro, have manually tidied up, not sure there is any other way to do it

Robert Nitrio Thanks, too, from me, Robert.
