Leo Woer  Leo this is certainly the question of the moment. Read posts below from Frank Schlatter and Pius Illa who have both written definitively on this topic. Running a php script is still going to be intimidating for a lot of our users who may not be as comfortable with script/coding - but that's what needs to happen until Mak builds something similar into the installation package.

When the time comes, I plan on using Frank's script below. Elegant Themes also has a simple "deleting Global Presets" script which worked just fine for me when updating the last time.
