Mak . I wish you would have shown us exactly how and what you did in order to change the original language that the website was displaying, and got it change to English. I may be the only person who doesn't know how to do this, but it could be useful. Can you show us exacty how you accomplished this? (And is the change only within Chrome, or only within that individual website, etc. I'd greatly appreciate it if you could show us the steps you took in order to make this happen. Thanks, Gary. (PS: If you ever do something, change something, etc., it would be extremely helpful if you would not cut out the steps you used to do things. Including your entire process would be appreciated. We can always zip ahead and zip backwards as needed ("IF" you can make a change to always include this option in your videos when you add them into this community area). Or, maybe include a link to the video in YouTube so we can open your videos there since YouTube includes this ability.) Thanks.

Gary Gordon why don't you simply use Firefox (or Chrome) translate options? in that way you don't have to change it for the whole backend no? it detects the language automatically and you could also understand what the front end says
Jorge Nava Jorge, I just wanted to know what Mak was doing in order to change the language. I realize there's multiple ways to go about this, but since Mak said he did this (during the video) I was just curious how he actually did it.

Wow… this looks really time-consuming, and it seems like you’re having a pretty hard time with it. I’d really like to hear your thoughts on this. Wouldn’t it be simpler to start from scratch with a new Divi 5 website? You could have two browser windows open: one with your current Divi 4 site and another with a fresh Divi 5 installation. The idea would be to rebuild your pages properly on a clean foundation, making sure all the elements are ready to use. Once the structure and settings are in place, you’d simply copy the text and images from the old site into the new Divi 5 pages. Of course, that’s still a fair amount of work, but at least you’d be working on a clean, stable foundation instead of spending hours trying to figure out why certain things don’t work. If the site includes a blog, there might also be a way to export just the posts through phpMyAdmin and import them into the new Divi 5 site, so you can recover all the content (text, images, etc.) without having to recreate everything manually. In any case, considering the amount of time you’re spending trying to troubleshoot these issues, I think—just as you mentioned earlier—it will be very difficult to bill all of those hours to your client. That’s a real concern. That also gave me an idea: what if your plugin included a starter page (a draft) containing all the standard Divi 5 modules already set up? I think that would be a huge advantage. It would give users a solid starting point for rebuilding their pages and significantly speed up the migration process. What do you think?
