Update information error?! (Solved with update 4.2.10)

I like the update function very much. BUT: Automatic update is working but after that the notice about the same update is still there. Seems to be a minor Bug. Just reporting it here...

I also got that then i delete all cache and deaktivated KrafterPro and installed KrafterPro 4.2.8 and that overrides the old one then activated KrafterPro and everything was allright again.
Hope this can help.

Robert J I only see 4.2.8 in the Downloads. Where did you get 4.2.28?

Michael McCollum

I have the same issue, even with a fresh website and no previously installed KrafterPro.

Hello Michael, if you don´t have other KrafterPro plugin installed just install the 4.2.8 latest version and you are good to go. you do not have issue with update still active when you update from the older version. Or install the KrafterPro 4.2.8 version then deactivate the plugin, Install it again ver 4.2.8 and it asks if you want override say yes then activate the KrafterPro plugin you just updated and everything goes to normal. Hope this make sence.

Sorry Sven it is KrafterPro ver 4.2.8 and nothing else.

Mak .  I'm trying to install the newest version, but after updating, it keeps showing this:

1.00

So it's looking for 4.2.28 after upgrading to the newest version.

Can you help?

Gary Gordon Try the solutions Robert J suggested below. It worked perfectly for me.

Gary Gordon

Mathias G Mak .  I had to delete the prior version of KrafterPro and then reinstall it. But this issue can and should still be fixed by Mak and his team. There's still an issue. And requiring us to do this on each website that we use KrafterPro on, isn't very convenient. I hope Mak can fix this on his end so this issue will go away without us having to delete the plugin and manually reinstall it on all of our websites. I hope this makes sense. But that's for the tip.

Mathias G

Gary Gordon I understand what you mean. You could try installing the plugin again without deleting the version that's causing the issue, and then choose Replace. That way, the existing files will be overwritten.

As I mentioned, this seems to be working fine for me so far, at least.

Gary Gordon

Mathias G When I reinstalled the plugin, without deleting it, the version issue still showed up. Only after deleting it and reinstalling it, did the issue resolve itself.

I also have the same problem

Please Mak. The problem is a recurrent. one. I think you haven´t been aware of the problem considering the mail you sended today.????

Gary Gordon

Mak .  Well, I don't know why, but the problem showed up again. Even after deleting the plugin, reinstalling it, then it seemed like it was okay, but after several minutes, the issue is back to showing the v4.2.28 again needs to be upgraded.

Mak .

Gary Gordon I am fixing the issue, will bush the update in a bit.

Gary Gordon

Mak . Thanks.
