Mak . Got a bug for you. When using Safe Merge, it says (in the example screenshot) that 54 presets will update. But instead it is creating a whole new set of 54 presets (see second screenshot).
I'm using Clause to bulk edit presets in JSON, so need the updating function. The native Divi preset uploader doesn't update existing presets, so this is a key feature of KrafterPro I will use often.
Heading presets in Divi are confusing as they have the naming mixed up. Took me a while to work this out, so thought I would share it with the community.
- The Heading Text attribute inside a Headings module is controlled by the 'Title Text' presets (this is where KrafterPro now puts the heading presets). This same preset also controls the 'Title Text' field in lots of other modules, e.g. Blurbs.
- There is another Group Preset called 'Heading Text' - this controls the 'Heading Text' attribute in a Text module (and just a few other modules). This is used when you assign a heading tag within a normal Text module.
Hope this helps someone else to work it out faster than it took me!
Hi Mak . For future versions, it would be great if you could add a "select all" and "deselect all" for 'spacing' and 'colors' in the preview mode before confirming imports.
It would also be great if there was a way to include custom variables. Each time I upgrade, I lose my custom images, links, and text. My custom prefix of "j-" was saved in gradients, but not in links, text, or images.
I'm curious how we should go about fixing them. (By the way, after I upgraded to v3.0.1, I wanted to re-install the .json file again, but it no longer was available under the Style Guide area. So I had to download the KrafterPro 3.0.1 and extract the .json files from the .zip. Not sure why I wasn't able to still access the StyleGuide (to download it) from under your "Style Guide" area. See my screenshot for the WCAG issues. I'm wanting to know how you recommend we make changes. I thought it would be nice if we could click on the items and go to where ever is needed so we could just make an edit. Please let us know. (PS: What does "Lab." mean when you say KrafterPro Lab.??
98+2+146+237 = 483 - why the difference? I'm assuming the 98 colors and 2 fonts are included in the total variables, which would make the figures balance.
It looks odd, though.
When I try to use the plugin update feature on my site, I keep getting an error stating "Update failed: Download failed. Unprocessable Entity." I believe it may have something to do with licensing but my license is installed and validated. This website is located on a local Linux server that is accessed via Tailscale and the internet. Any suggestions regarding this issue are welcome. In addition, I can't find where to download the zip file from Divi University. It used to be in my Dashboard but I recall it moved some time ago. Can someone provide me with the link or where in this expanded DU to find it? Thanks!
Has anyone else experienced the workspace settings not being saved once they are set for a site? I usually turn on all of the PageBar Icons and the Enable Admin Bar, but these are not "remembered" after I leave and come back.
Hi Mak, I don't seem to have the Brand Preview in the latest KP build.
Has Brand Preview and Starter Sites been removed in version 3.0.1? Those two options are no longer available for me.
I've built a section with stacking rows, but my footer wants to creep up the page, cutting off part of the section so the rows don't fully appear. Any thoughts on why this is happening?
